Originally an emoticon, this phrase has become a reaction to cuteness or anything adorable.
Other definitions of uwu:
- An emoticon that looks like two closed eyes with a cat-like mouth in the middle.
- A baby-talk phrase based off the text emoticon that symbolizes cuteness or happiness.
- A text smiley face that looks like an Anime face that characters who are cute/satisfied wear.
