What does RACK mean?An acronym that stands for Risk Aware Consensual Kink. These are BDSM community guidelines that make sure everyone knows what danger they are consenting to.
Other definitions of RACK:
- Risk Aware Consensual Kink. Certain ideals in BDSM that aim to mitigate risk and make BDSM as safe as possible.
- Risk-Accepted Consensual Kink, an acronym that describes riskier behaviors in BDSM in which participants are fully aware of potential risks.
- Risk Accepted Consent Kinks. Contrasted with SSC (Safe, Sane, and Consensual), which generally holds that only acts that are all three are permissible. RACK involves more dangerous activities, that have been accepted.

How to use the term

I prefer RACK over SSC. Safe is relative, and sex can never be completely safe.
