What does Pennywise mean?
One name for the main antagonist in Stephen King's horror novel It. The cosmic evil entity preys on children in the town of Derry, Maine, and can take the form of Pennywise the Dancing Clown.
Other definitions of Pennywise:
- Can sometimes describe someone who is frugal and mindful of their spending. Wise with pennies. Often spelled "penny wise".
- An American punk rock band from the late 1980s.
