What does Cringey mean?
Refers to the state of making other cringe by demonstrating embarrassing behavior.
Other definitions of Cringey:
- Used to describe awkward actions in which the offender does not perceive themselves as embarrassing.
- Describes actions that, when watched, cause a powerful physical reaction because how embarrassed you are for the person involved.
- Shockingly embarrassing activities that are hard to watch. Often, the person being cringey has no idea of their behavior (or thinks it's cool) and is being recording to be shared online.
