What does No Cap mean?

A term for not lying. Usually said after saying something doubtful.

Other definitions of No Cap:

  • A way to claim that something is truth or you are being truthful.
  • Stating that something is real or truthful. Cap is a slang term for lies, and originated from the 1940s where capping meant exaggerating to surpass someone.
  • A short and sweet way to elaborate that what you are saying is true.

No Cap:

  • No cap, this is the best chicken I've ever tasted.
