despite the most common meaning which is "F**k My Life", derived from the movie Superbad, FML has become increasingly more common and used to just show any sort of sign of disgust, unhappiness or other sort of disdain or anger. Often used by overly dramatic teenagers who think that they have been dealt the worst hand in the world over the most inconsequential of circumstances.
